Program Details:

East and Central European Studies (ECES) is an English-taught study abroad program at Charles University, Faculty of Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. The program was founded in 1992, and provides English-taught classes for international students at the Faculty. In addition to courses, ECES provides comprehensive pre-departure and visa advising, on-site orientation, day and weekend trips, 24-hour emergency support, English-speaking staff, and a wide variety of extracurricular activities for ECES students to fully immerse themselves into life at Charles University.

Courses are offered in liberal arts fields such as Art and Culture, Economics, History, Literature, Politics, Psychology, Sociology, and Czech language for beginners. ECES offers programs in the Fall (September-December) and Spring (February-May) semesters.
