At FU-BEST, students take a mandatory German language course as well as English-taught subject classes.  To meet Fordham's credit requirements, students taking Experiential German must take 4 subject classes (5 classes total).  Students taking Intensive German only need to take 3 subject classes (4 classes total) given the increased workload of the Intensive German class.

I would advise that, in choosing a location to study abroad, prospective students should weigh their own individual interest and intellectual curiosities over all other considerations. Thoughts of cost and academic credit are important but considering familiarity and convenience over intellectual stimulation and a new environment will result in an unfulfilling experience abroad. You can always take a foreign vacation, but the holistic experience of studying in a new environment is not a chance everyone gets and shouldn't be wasted.
